About Student Section

The prime objective of the student section is to assist the students for their various kinds of activities seeking from the institution such as enrollment, examination, scholarship, anti ragging, student grievance, student affairs and certifications. Our institute had been developed STS Online portal to support green environment movement for daily routine activities of student section. STS portal prepare database to make all student related activities online. Section performed following activities for the students.

Reporting Process for New Admitted Students

B.E./M.E. First year તેમજ Diploma to Degree માં પ્રવેશ મેળવેલ વિદ્યાર્થીઓએ નીચે દર્શાવેલ નકલ ની સોફ્ટકોપી ગૂગલ ફોર્મ દ્વારા ઓનલાઇન જમા કરાવવાની રહેશે.

Provisional Admission Slip ની નકલ

Reporting કરાવ્યાના બીજા દિવસે તમારું MS TEAM નું ID activate થઈ જશે.

તમારે પોતાના mobile/Laptop/Computer માં MS Team Application download કરીને Online ક્લાસ join કરવાના રહેશે.

જેનો User ID: ACPC Application No@gecbhuj1.gujgov.edu.in અને Password: gecb@123 રહેશે.

General Rules for Students

Rules and Regulation for the Students in Campus Premises

  1. Students will not be allowed to appear in one or all subject's university examination if (a)presence criteria of 75% is not fulfilled in one or more subject or (b) not satisfactorily completed assigned work in one or more subject.
  2. All students have to attend theory and practical classes and all internal assessment programs in the institute.
  3. The curriculum, rules and regulations of the institute/ university for this year and over the years may be revised from time to time by the Gujarat Technological University/ the State Government / the Institute. The students have to comply with the rules from time to time.
  4. The disciplinary jurisdiction will be the authorities of the university and the authorities of the institute. All students must have to observe and abide by the rules made by them.
  5. The mobile phones, or similar electronic instruments have to be switched off in classrooms,library and during any activity in the institute. If such instruments ring or are used during classes, in the library or during activities, the instruments are liable to be confiscated by the institute authorities, or fine may be imposed by the institute.
  6. Strict Disciplinary Action will be taken against students indulging in any kind of Ragging activity inside or outside the institute.
  7. Engineering courses taught in the institute are Professional Courses and students must dress appropriately for the same. Shorts, short tops, short skirts and half pants are not allowed.Teacher's instructions in this respect shall be followed.
  8. Students must wear Identity cards at all times while in campus premises and to produce it when demanded by institute authorities.
  9. Student must obey Standard Safety and Traffic Rules in the campus. Without helmet/ seat belt entry inside the campus will not be allowed.
  10. Smoking cigarettes or taking any addictive substance in institute premises including the canteen, hostel, mess etc. is prohibited and if any student found doing these, will be liable for disciplinary action.
  11. It is responsibility of all of us to keep institute premises clean and green. Any harmful activity to the environment is strictly prohibited.
  12. Students must not indulge in cyber-crime or post any derogatory comment about the institute, teachers or fellow students in social media.
  13. Students must follow the following timing of the institute.

Institute Transfer (As per CTE Norms)

Process

Rules for student eligibility for institute transfer are as per guidelines provided by Commissionerate of   Technical Education, Education Department, Government of Gujarat [ Student Transfer Rules]

Student has to apply for transfer during 1st August to 15th September. The application will be dispatched from institute on 16th September. Student has to strictly follow given deadlines as per norms [ CTE norms]

The application has to be submitted as per format-1 [ format-1] with necessary documents (Documents 1 to 5 are mandatory)

Documents:

1. Application counter signed by department head with remarks.

2. Mark sheets of all earlier semesters.

3. Student I-card.

4. Copy of earlier year Institute fee receipt.

5. No Due certificate.

6. Death certificate of parents(s), in case of death of parent(s)

7. Earlier Medical reports by Government hospital/ reputed hospital, in case of health issues.

ADMISSION CANCELLATION (As per GTU norms)

Process

There are two categories of students who apply for cancellation of admission. Student must submit listed documents for admission cancellation. Application without details/Documents will not be processed. Student has to submit his/her admission cancellation application by himself/herself at institute.

Student admitted through ACPC but not enrolled to GTU:

Student has to personally come to student section to apply for cancellation of admission with following documents.

1. Student’s application in his/her own handwriting and counter signed by his/her guardian.

2. Photo copy of photo-id of student and guardian having his/her specimen signature.

3. Copy of admission slip, fees receipt generated by ACPC and copy of Institute fee receipt.

Student enrolled to GTU:

Student has to personally come to student section to apply for cancellation of admission with following documents.

1. Student’s application in his/her own handwriting and counter signed by his/her guardian.

2. Photo copy of photo-id of student and guardian having his/her specimen signature.

3. Fill GTU form for Enrollment cancellation [ Form for Enrollment cancellation]
